4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July! Our playgroup met to decorate wagons and strollers and then we walked in the neighborhood parade. The parade was nice and short, only two blocks, and the people who lived along the parade route came out to wave at us. The parade ended at the elementary school and they had few activities for the kids...a "train" to ride, bounce house, and limbo and hula hoop contests for the older ones. Sam really liked the girl who one the hula hoop contest. (See 'Rico Suave' below, trying to make his move...I mean seriously, where did that move come from?)
The quote of the day came from Sonia (one of the moms in our playgroup) who asked, "Okay, so where's the parade?"...to which John responded, "You are the parade."
