But Daddy, It Won't Fit

Sam has a child-size metal grocery basket that he likes to recklessly push around our house full of wood floors. Inevitably, he ends up running into someone or something. Recently he did this for the. last. time...it sent John over the edge. So, John told him that if he ran into a wall or cabinet again, he was putting the basket in the trash! Sam quickly responded with a sweet, "But dad, it won't fit." And he was right. At least it made John laugh.
