Sam has a pretty strong gag reflex when it comes to strong, stinky, smells. I love the way he asks, "What's that smell?"...instead saying, "What does it smell like in here?" Ever since his Thanksgiving night stomach bug, this gag reflex has also carried over to throw up. For a good month after Thanksgiving, Sam would gag and run to the toilet or nearest trash can every time he would cough, thinking he was going to throw up.
And now, that we have a baby who spits up all the time, this too causes him to gag. No smell of course, but if Sam sees Ben spit up, he starts gagging...it makes me laugh (is that horrible?). And it doesn't even have to be a lot of spit up...just a little activates that gag reflex.
He's pretty consumed with Ben spitting up and almost any noise he makes, from coughing to cooing, Sam frantically asks, "Spit up?"
Piecing a number of these episodes together in a video would be quite entertaining.
